Understand what your child can't quite put into words.
Insight for Families turns your child's own school assessment into everyday guidance for home — a few minutes a day, built around what they're actually going through right now.

A clear, real portrait of how your child is doing — not just a score, but what it means and why.
See what it looks like
Whatever they're going through, there's a module for it.
Every module starts one of two ways — from a specific situation you're living through right now, or a specific skill your child's assessment flagged. Real enough to feel like it was written for your exact week.
Start from the situation
Start from the skill
The meltdowns that come out of nowhere
What's underneath them, and what to do the moment one starts.
Homework ends in tears
How to break the spiral without taking over the task.
He is pulling away from us
Staying close to a child who wants more distance.
The pressure is crushing him
What helps when the stakes feel bigger than he is.

The questions don't stay the same for long. Insight grows with your child — not a static library, but a set of answers to whatever this particular year actually looks like.

Hi, Ana.
What's going on at home? I know Diego and his May assessment.
Start with
He shuts down when something goes wrong
He doesn't tell me anything about school
How much screen time is healthy

María
Always here
I told him about the rough day and he did talk to me. Now he says he doesn't want to go to class anymore.
That was already progress
That he talked to you the same day is new for him. "I don't want to go" almost always means "I don't want to be embarrassed again," not that he hates the subject.
Try this phrase
"You don't have to like it. Tell me what would make tomorrow less awful."
If in two weeks he's still avoiding class, then it's worth writing to his tutor. I'll remind you when that time comes.

Diego failed an exam and since yesterday he won't leave his room. Should I push him or leave him alone?
What's happening
He's not rejecting you — he's protecting himself from feeling like a failure. In May, calming down after getting frustrated was exactly what cost him the most.
The good news: you don't have to solve it today.
Three things that work
1
Give him the afternoon. Today just let him know dinner is ready, without mentioning the exam.
2
Name without judging. "Looks like it was a rough day" opens more doors than "what happened?".
3
The plan, tomorrow. Once he's calm again, he can think about what's next.

A living picture, not a one-time report.
As new results come in through the year, you'll see what's changed, what's improving, and what still needs attention — the same information your school sees, explained for home.
